The Data distributed with this site is a derived subset, not the original release.
Changes made:

  * Limited to a bounding box covering Marin County, San Francisco, and the East Bay
    as far as Alameda (37.69/-123.02 to 38.18/-122.20).
  * Records with a date_closed, or carrying an unresolved flag of closed, doesnt_exist,
    duplicate, delete, inappropriate or privatevenue, were removed.
  * Records not refreshed since 2022-01-01 were removed, as were records with neither a
    telephone number nor a website (except parks, which frequently have neither).
  * Foursquare category labels were mapped onto fourteen categories of this site's own,
    and records outside those categories were removed.
  * Retained fields were reduced to name, latitude, longitude and a category label, with
    coordinates rounded to five decimal places, and split into geographic tiles.

Transit stop records in this dataset come from 511 SF Bay, not from Foursquare.
